Lou Holtz once said: “All winning teams are goal-oriented. Teams like these win consistently because everyone connected with them concentrates on specific objectives. They go about their business with blinders on; nothing will distract them from achieving their aims.”
Goals help your team strive for success and what you want to achieve. Goals should be specific and stated positively. You never want goals to focus on what not to do, such as “don’t throw any interceptions today.” Positive goals direct each member of the team in the same direction.
